About the role:
As a Regional Manager you will preferably have a strong Supply Chain (RFx, Supplier Relationship, Contract Management) and technical background ( mechanical, electrical, etc.) to purchase equipment and services. Candidate is a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments. Strong commercial relationship skills are required for suppliers with the goal of providing clear and innovative solutions to the organization's requests.
An advanced level of spoken and written English, any additional language (Ex. Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish,…).
Ability to travel (10 to 20%).
You will report to the Global Sr Manager and be located at Mannheim.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development of sourcing & procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers and establish a communication channel for the suppliers.
2. Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements
3. Preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establishing sourcing strategies for suppliers and services:
4. Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
5. RFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditions
6. Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals while leading formulation of strategy and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for highly complex and specialized materials, equipment, components and services.
7. Analyze and evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies and tactics to maximize supplier base cost/value.
Qualifications:
8. Experience in managing a team of 3 to 7 people.
9. Min 10 years' experience in Strategic Procurement.
10. Ability to maintain long term productive relationship with supplier (SRM)
11. Strong program Management skills
12. Manage Supplier resiliencies
13. Strong and In-depth knowledge of technical purchasing and purchase order processes,
14. Strong Procurement technical background & Contract Management
15. Knowledge in Nuclear Industry or regulated industry
16. General technical knowledge of the nuclear field and products,
17. Strong knowledge of the company's IT tools (SAP, ARIBA, E-Auction),
18. Strong Knowledge of project management tools,
19. Sense of prioritization
20. Strong Ability to write analytical and synthesis documents.
21. Able to represent GSCS with internal and external customers
