Head of IT Workplace Technology (m/w/d)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT leader with a passion for modern workplace technologies. The ideal candidate thrives in an international environment, enjoys driving change, and empowering agile teams.
* Collaborate closely with the Domain Lead in the development and implementation of the global IT Workplace Technology strategy
* Take ownership for the successful delivery of workplace-related projects, solutions and services – leading the overarching team delivery including consulting, development, support and operations
* Provide leadership and professional guidance for Product Owners and teams within the workplace technology area
* Manage and coordinate with international service providers to ensure stable and efficient operations of global workplace environments
* Plan and manage resources in line with budget targets and overall capacity management processes
* Promote agile ways of working within virtual teams and ensure alignment with adjacent IT domains and IT governance structures
* Support the ongoing professional and personal development of team members in line with a modern DevOps and learning culture
* Create effective and innovative working environments where global workplace delivery teams can work productively
* Can take adjacent tasks relevant for the delivery and support of the global IT environment which require leadership maturity
* Be an advocate of change and change readiness in dealing with IT related topics and resources
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of experience in comparable management positions within the IT Workplace Technology domain
* Proven leadership experience managing interdisciplinary teams – both disciplinary and functional – in a global context
* High adaptability to change and a track record of success in large-scale change and transformation initiatives
* Experience in agile working environments and strong willingness to develop oneself and teams towards an agile mindset
* Ability to work within pressurized environments with a flexible approach
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* A forward-thinking mindset, strong goal orientation, and assertiveness
* Fluent business English skills, both written and spoken (C1 level)
