The Simulation Engineer Electronics will be focused on modeling and simulation of electronic circuits, related physical domains and day-to-day support for the developing team in designing, characterizing, and testing various aspects of automotive products

Key responsibilities

* Modeling, simulating and analysis of electronic circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements /or circuit design
* Perform testing, characterization and verification of electronic designs and their key electronic components
* Explore and apply simulations in related domains, such as 3D thermal analysis, power distribution analysis, parasitic extraction, EMC and magnetics
* Cooperation and coordination with in-house department as well as external consulting for specific use cases
* Support BorgWarner product development team with technical design analysis, trade off studies, and design reviews
* Development of simulation models for internal use

What we’re looking for

* Masters’ degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
* At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronic or e-Mobility Engineering
* Knowledge of relevant EMC standards, standing orders and legal requirements
* Knowledge in the field of theoretical electrical engineering and electrodynamics
* Capable to apply relevant simulation tools and methods
* Experience in a lab environment with electrical circuits preferred
* Work in a diversified team, where strong cross-team and cross-domain communication skills are key
* Fluency in English and German is required
