Head of DTC
Are you more than just an analyst? Are you a leader with a hunter’s instinct for sales? Do you know how to scale brands digitally, turn influencer hype into hard revenue, and negotiate the best possible terms for your budget? At IronMaxx we are looking for a Head of DTC who views the department as a profit center, takes our performance marketing engine to the next level, and strategically evolves our Shopify+ store.
Leadership & Sales Power
* Functional and disciplinary leadership for the DTC team, mentoring and motivating while setting clear performance targets.
* Negotiation of contracts with agencies, tech providers, and cooperation partners with a relentless focus on efficiency, sales impact, and scalability.
* Direct point of contact for the CEO and a sparring partner for the Head of Marketplaces, reporting measurable success and driving strategic expansion.
Strategic & Digital Marketing
* Responsibility for influencer marketing and paid social strategy (Meta, TikTok, etc.).
* Total ownership of SEO, SEA, and Display. Optimize ROI through data‑driven decisions rather than gut feeling.
* Identification of new market potential, creation of business cases, and quantification of complexity and feasibility for new ventures.
DTC Growth‑Hacking & Operations (Our Engine)
* Leverage the full potential of Shopify+ and modern web technologies to continuously optimize conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and the customer journey.
* Build and scale loyalty programs, subscriptions, and personalization projects to turn one‑time buyers into true IronMaxx fans, maximizing customer lifetime value (CLV).
* Integrate all channels (including retail synergies) into a unified database for precise, segment‑specific marketing.
Your Skillset
* Proven leadership experience in E‑Commerce/DTC, ideally within the FMCG or supplement industry.
* Sales mentality: You know how to sell, are a close, strong negotiator, and have a keen sense for digital marketing trends, especially social selling and influencer dynamics.
* Deep understanding of Shopify+ (Markets, Apps, scalability), tracking setups, and CRM systems.
* Knowledge in analysis and calculation of CRM and performance KPIs.
* Good foundation in brand and marketing psychology.
* Fluent English skills in written and spoken language; German is a plus.
