Mission of the Role: With over 3 million treatments delivered, TeleClinic is one of the top 5 healthcare apps in Germany – with a fast-growing user base. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in building our new in-house accounting function on Sage Intacct and ensuring compliant, efficient, and audit-proof finance processes. This position is part-time (20–30 hours per week) and can be carried out fully remotely. Your Tasks General Ledger & Closing: You take responsibility for accurate postings, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly and annual closings under IFRS/HGB. Intercompany Reconciliation & Reporting: You ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions within the DocMorris Group, while maintaining proper account mapping to Group reporting structures (e.g., SAP/Cognos) to enable transparent consolidation and consistent financial reporting. Accounts Payable & Receivable: You manage incoming and outgoing invoices, ensure proper processing of supplier and customer payments, and oversee bank feeds and reconciliations. CAPEX & Asset Accounting: You handle capitalization of intangible assets and CAPEX projects, ensuring correct booking and documentation of development hours and investments. Tax Calculations & Submissions: You prepare and submit all relevant tax declarations, including sales tax (VAT) and income tax, ensuring compliance with German tax regulations. Process & System Integration: You work hands-on with Sage Intacct, Qonto, Spendesk, and other connected systems, continuously improving processes and automation. Audit & Compliance: You support internal and external audits, maintain documentation standards, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Cross-functional Collaboration: You work closely with Finance, Tech, and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely reporting, supporting management in financial decision-making. Your Profile: Professional background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed apprenticeship, degree, or equivalent experience) Proven experience in general ledger accounting, AP/AR, and financial closings Solid knowledge of German tax regulations and hands-on experience in VAT and income tax calculations and submissions Knowledge of IFRS and HGB; experience with audits and compliance processes is a strong plus Hands-on experience with modern accounting systems (Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems) and high interest in process automation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Proactive, structured, and independent working style, combined with strong teamwork skills Fluency in German and English LI-MW1 Enjoy great benefits Please note that due to various partnership or legal agreements, some benefits may not be available outside of Germany.
