Director Business Development Road Tech & LLP – Europe (m/f/d)
Location: Europe (flexible) | DP World Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
What You Will Do
* Lead and empower a high-performing sales team within the Technology vertical, creating a culture of collaboration and growth.
* Co-design and implement a strategic growth plan for road services together with senior leadership.
* Expand our customer base by building trusted, long-term partnerships.
* Achieve sustainable financial growth and broaden service and geographic coverage.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of our customers’ organizations.
* Oversee commercial processes including RFQs, contract negotiations, and pipeline management.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and support teams to deliver integrated solutions.
* Represent DP World with professionalism, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to safety.
What You Bring
* A degree in Business, Transport, or Logistics, plus at least 5 years’ experience in 4PL/LLP/logistics or related fields.
* Proven experience in sales and business development, with a record of building strong client relationships.
* Leadership experience: you enjoy empowering diverse teams and helping people grow.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills—clear, respectful, and effective.
* Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
* Willingness to travel (30–60%); fluent English; other European languages are a plus.
