<p><strong>Electrical Design Manager – Data Centre</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Frankfurt, Germany</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Freelance / Contract</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 30 months</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediate</p><p><strong>Working Pattern:</strong> 5 days per week on-site / ~50 hours per week</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are supporting a major semi conductor project in Frankfurt and are seeking an experienced <strong>Electrical Design Manager</strong> to join the team on a freelance basis.</p><p>This is a key role within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment, where you will take ownership of electrical design delivery across key packages. The position requires a hands-on professional with strong experience in <strong>data centre or critical infrastructure projects</strong>, capable of working closely with site, engineering, and commissioning teams.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage electrical design activities across the project lifecycle</li><li>Oversee <strong>cable tray design and routing</strong>, ensuring efficient and compliant layouts</li><li>Manage and coordinate <strong>containment systems design and installation</strong></li><li>Deliver <strong>Medium Voltage (MV) design work</strong>, ensuring alignment with project specifications</li><li>Review and coordinate design documentation with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams</li><li>Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements</li><li>Support site teams during installation, providing technical guidance and resolving design issues</li><li>Work closely with commissioning teams to ensure designs are fully integrated and deliverable</li><li>Monitor design progress to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as an <strong>Electrical Design Manager</strong> or Senior Electrical Design Engineer</li><li>Strong background working on <strong>data centre or mission-critical projects</strong></li><li>Demonstrated experience in <strong>cable tray design, containment systems, and MV design</strong></li><li>Solid understanding of electrical design standards and best practices within Europe</li><li>Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced construction environments</li><li>Fluent <strong>English is essential</strong>; <strong>German is highly desirable</strong></li><li>Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work fully on-site and manage demanding project schedules</li></ul><p><br></p>
