Summary
We are seeking experienced Speech and Language Therapists (Logopäden) to join established healthcare institutions across NRW, Germany. This role is vital in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages affected by speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. The therapist will play a key role in accurate assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of evidence-based interventions, contributing significantly to patient recovery and quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
* Design and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
* Provide specialized treatment for articulation, fluency, voice disorders, neurological speech impairments, and developmental communication challenges.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes and treatment outcomes.
* Work closely with physicians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals in coordinated care settings.
* Offer guidance, counseling, and education to patients and their families to support treatment adherence and long-term success.
Requirements
* University degree in Speech and Language Therapy, recognized in Germany (Anabin H+ classification required).
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a licensed Speech Therapist.
* Proficiency in German at C1 level (mandatory).
* Advanced English language skills at C1 level (required).
* Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment tools, diagnostic techniques, and evidence-based therapy methods.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills for effective patient and family interaction.
* Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
