Sales Engineer - Alliance Team

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team.

Summary of Position:

As a Sales Engineer dedicated to the Alliance support, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our strategic partners. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure that our joint solutions meet customer / prospect needs and align with business objectives. Your role will be pivotal in fostering strong relationships and driving the success of our alliances.

The Sales Engineer must be able to:

* Articulate technology, product positioning and business value to both business and technical users
* Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer/prospect satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
* Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
* Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Alliance Team to understand partner offerings and identify opportunities for joint solutions.
* Provide technical support and expertise during the sales process, ensuring alignment between partner products and customer requirements.
* Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for partners and their clients, highlighting the benefits of our joint solutions.
* Conduct Proof-of-Values and other technical validations for partners and their clients, highlighting the benefits of our joint solutions.
* Assist in the development of joint marketing materials, proposals, and technical documentation.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
* Design and execute partner training sessions to ensure they are well-equipped to represent our solutions effectively.
* Support the sales team in closing deals by providing technical validation and addressing any technical concerns from partners or clients.
* Monitor and report on the performance of joint solutions, gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

* 3+ years SAP ERP sales engineer experience
* 5+ practical experience in the information security industry
* SAP security networking and virtualization experience
* Ability to travel 50% +
* Excellent communication, customer management and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently with limited oversight
* Positive, energetic personality with a drive to succeed
* English and German speaker
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
