What you will do
1. Advise on debt investments entered into by our private markets funds and segregated accounts, including at inception and ongoing advice on waivers, amendments, and restructurings.
2. Structure and establish private credit investment funds in Luxembourg and other jurisdictions, considering legal, tax, and regulatory requirements (e.g., AIFM licensing, investor eligibility, sustainability, regulatory capital).
3. Provide ongoing legal and regulatory advice on investment products managed or advised by AllianzGI throughout their lifecycle.
4. Draft and review investment management and advisory agreements for private credit strategies.
5. Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders across our private markets platform, including investment teams, sustainability, risk, compliance, operations, tax, and finance.
What you bring

3. At least 8 years PQE with significant experience in private markets funds and international transactional advisory work.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
5. Ability to work autonomously with ownership and responsibility, while maintaining regular communication with management and teams.
6. Skilled in translating complex legal topics into understandable advice.
7. Proven relationship-building skills across the value chain, fostering teamwork.
8. Learning agility and keen interest in policy, legal, and regulatory developments.
9. Experience with sustainable investments and German private markets fund investor requirements is advantageous but not mandatory.
