As an Improvement Engineer at the F&P Technical Centre, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing processes and equipment. Your responsibilities will include leading the implementation of new products and technologies, optimising existing processes, and managing projects. Collaborating closely with operations and reporting to the Regional Quality and F&P Tech Centre Manager, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to support our long-term strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Process Safety Management (PSM): Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process and ensure compliance with FMC’s safety standards and procedures, supporting overall sustainability goals. New Product Introduction (NPI): Partner with NPI Engineers and R&D to meet project milestones and ensure quality assurance and testing plans are in place for new product launches. Technology & Capital Projects: Evaluate new technologies, manage project planning and execution, and ensure safety processes (HAZOP, PHA) are completed. Support the site's 5-year capital improvement strategy. Continuous Improvement: Analyse process performance, lead optimisation initiatives, streamline data systems, and contribute to root cause analyses for long-term improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a chemical or process environment. Proven track record of leading successful projects. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills. Ability to plan strategically and adapt as needed. Strong verbal communication skills in English.
