Start: 01.07.2025 Duration: 31.10.2025 (long term engagement (2026)) Capacity: 100% if possible Location: 75% Remote, 25% Berlin (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times Language: English, German is a plus Team: The Delivery Program Line is responsible for the design, rollout, and continuous optimization of a software delivery function. To accelerate software delivery, the focus lies on optimizing engineering workflows, increasing automation levels, and introducing modern development tools—including AI-assisted capabilities. Development pipelines are structured to support rapid iteration, reliable test automation, and safe deployment, ensuring high-quality outputs with reduced lead times. Architectural and operational oversight is provided to proactively identify and resolve technical delivery risks. This includes performing deep technical analyses, prioritizing issues based on program impact, and implementing structural improvements informed by real-world usage and escalations. Feedback loops are continuously maintained to refine both the platform and the associated development practices, supporting sustainable growth across distributed engineering domains. Tasks: - Development of modules: Product Delivery (Platform Level): Ensure the successful delivery of platform solutions to Product Operations - Process Definition and Improvement: Define, operate, and continuously improve product delivery processes. This includes automating processes using appropriate tools. - Quality Assurance Recommendations: Provide expert recommendations to enhance quality assurance practices. - Technical Coordination of Release Management: Manage the technical coordination of multi-release management. - Consulting on Dependency Management: Offer consulting services on dependency management related to product delivery. - Risk & Issue Management: Analyze and conceptualize risk and issue management strategies for product delivery. Profile: - 10 years of experience in large scale complex IT projects - Experience in working within a matrix organization - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong understanding of project management processes and quality assurance. - Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, agile and scrum methodologies Skills: - Deep knowledge from developing cloud in either private or public cloud environments - CD/CD pipelines - Deep understanding of operations of infrastructure in a large scale cloud environment - Understanding of cloud platform and the building blocks - Experience in observability, performance monitoring, and improving customer experience - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, DevOps practices, and IAM/RBAC principles and the associated observability solutions - Competence in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. - Familiarity with the essentials of CI/CD pipeline management, including build, image registry, vulnerability scanning, and deployment processes. - Experience with building infra using open source tech and associated tools like terraform, helm, etc. - Proven knowledge of setting up IT organizations and their processes - Experience in consulting project teams through organizational change and adapting to new processes and technologies.
