The Position
We are exclusively partnered with a Top large pharmaceutical company with an incredibly diverse R&D pipeline. My client is seeking a professional in Clinical Development to take the lead on a high-profile obesity program, where you will hold full strategic and operational accountability for its clinical development.
As a key leader within the Global Clinical Development Department, you’ll shape and drive a data-driven development strategy that not only defines the future of this asset but also contributes directly to transforming patient outcomes worldwide. You’ll design and execute an innovative clinical plan that aligns with the asset’s target product profile, delivers on its value proposition, and advances the company’s long-term vision.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Shape strategy and guide key operational decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
* Lead the design and evolution of a best-in-class clinical development plan post-PoC, driving regulatory success and unlocking the asset’s full potential.
* Influence and advance the overall clinical development strategy for a high-impact asset.
* Turn insights and evidence into decisive actions that shape enterprise-level direction.
Requirements
* MD or PhD with deep medical expertise; US clinical or pharma experience a strong plus.
* Solid track record in clinical drug development within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Proven leader with experience driving strategy in above-country/global roles.
* Strong command of the full product lifecycle — from pre-launch to launch and beyond.
* Regulatory savvy with successful FDA, EMA, and other agency interactions.
* Exceptional communicator, influencer, and negotiator with executive-level presence.
