Avia intends to continue to grow strongly in the coming years – both organically and through acquisitions. Keys to enabling Avia's growth journey are few layers of hierarchy, collaboration and efficient processes.
* Responsible for the accounting of the northern Germany company cluster
* Responsible for legal reporting
* Managing your team
* Lead or be involved in projects linked to the finance department
* Close collaboration with other departments in the organization
* Be the link between the Avia Pharma Group and the local accounting team.
We are looking for someone who has:
* A bachelor's- or a master's degree in finance/accounting with at least 5 years of experience in accounting
* Good professional knowledge of accounting and tax rules and extensive experience with accounting systems and Excel. (The Northern Germany company cluster currently work in Sage.)
* Experience from leading people and someone who enjoys coaching people
* Very good German and fluent in spoken and written English
* An interest in lean operations and process optimization
It is an advantage if you have:
* Worked in a large company with well-developed modern processes
* Worked with auditing
* Prior experience from having direct reports
* Experience from regulated industry (pharma/medtech/OTC)
