Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and execute total vehicle and sub-system tests to validate performance, durability, safety, quality, functions and compliance with relevant standards
2. Support vehicle development from concept through to final validation, including prototype and pre-series testing
3. Take responsibility for the release recommendation (sign-off) of tested systems or components, based on test results and performance evaluation
4. Define and implement test procedures based on technical requirements and regulatory guidelines
5. Operate and monitor vehicle testing equipment and data acquisition systems
6. Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed technical feedback to development teams
7. Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and external testing service providers
8. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and tools
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
2. Solid experience in vehicle testing and validation, in all total vehicle areas mandatory (ride & handling, thermal management, NVH, EMC, etc.)
3. Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems (e.G. CAN, INCA, Vector tools, etc.)
4. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and their interactions (powertrain, chassis, electronics, etc.)
5. Hands-on experience in test execution, root cause analysis, and issue tracking
6. Analytical mindset, structured working style, and strong team spirit
7. Fluent written and spoken English (report language);
German or Chinese skills are a plus
8. Willingness to travel (e.G. proving grounds, climate testing, etc.)
