Overview
We’re working with a pioneering company that has been developing breakthrough technology since 2013. With no comparable solution on the market, the business has scaled from pilots to manufacturing and is now ready for the next stage of its journey: building plants and full commercialisation.
As part of this growth, we’re seeking a CFO (Consulting role with potential to go permanent) to shape and drive the equity and financing storyline.
The Role
* Build and refine the equity story, linking fundraising strategy directly to the business strategy.
* Support and advise the CEO and leadership team on raising significant capital (> $100m) for first-of-a-kind manufacturing assets.
* Lead the preparation of business plans, financing models, and bank presentations.
* Act as the bridge to VC and PE investors, crafting a compelling and consistent story across multiple fundraising steps.
* Manage due diligence processes, anticipating investor questions and ensuring consistency.
* Potential to transition into the permanent CFO role after the initial 6 months.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience building and communicating an equity story in a start-up or growth-stage business.
* Hands-on fundraising track record, from shaping the ask to identifying and approaching investors.
* Experience raising large-scale capital for high-risk, first-of-a-kind manufacturing or industrial projects.
* Confident advising CEOs and Boards: “You want to raise X million? Here’s how, here’s who to target, and here’s the roadmap.”
* European-based, with strong exposure to industrial industries.
This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in commercialising a technology that could transform an industry.
If this sounds like you, or someone in your network, let’s talk.
