OverviewDirector Product Management role at Global Payments Inc. (based in Cologne and/or Frankfurt am Main, Germany). Part of the Senior Leadership Team reporting into the Board of Directors Germany and responsible for translating the business strategy of GP PAI into an actionable country-specific product strategy with a strong focus on the German market requirements, taking into account GP’s overall product capabilities. The role also focuses on embedding the German PM team into the global product development structure of GP and contributes to the financial success of GP PAI by deriving a Go-to-Market strategy for existing and upcoming products as well as managing the product lifecycle with all relevant stakeholders.What Part Will You Play?Provides leadership and vision to Product Managers across all stages of the product life-cycle, including innovation and ideation, conceptual analysis, planning, product development and deployment, sales, marketing, product support, product sustainment and enhancement, and product retirement.Leads, establishes and promotes strategic focus; provides high level direction of the work, decisions and processes; sets staff, product and business strategy across all stages of the product life-cycle; maintains a strong industry and market focus to keep the company current and leading.Identifies key business opportunities, refines strategies, and highlights new technologies, partnerships, and start-ups to develop and deliver new products and services; analyses data and complex problems to make and approve recommendations for actions; adapts methods to changing business needs and anticipates future changes.Reviews regular reporting for management on product or project status, client programs, process improvements, and meetings; presents initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and communicates with clients to gain consensus on sensitive information.Directs the team in managing third-party supplier relationships, including leading partner management, negotiating contracts, and optimizing opportunities with supplier partners.Contributes to pricing strategy, client billing for services and ongoing products or features; presents recommendations to relevant governance bodies; provides high-level strategic direction to meet objectives.Analyses, tracks and reports on product profit and loss; plans annual budgets for product cost centers and ensures resources, technology, and services support high-quality client service.Leads management of multiple products, monitors financial and effectiveness measures, ensures project and contract completion on schedule and with quality, and manages resource allocation and capacity planning.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalentRelated field of study or relevant experience; degree may be offset by significant relevant experienceTypically 10+ years in related professional experience including 5–6 years in a managerial positionYour ProfileThe successful candidate must demonstrate high energy, commitment, and drive.
