What's the role?
The HERE Navigation team is building a next-generation, highly customizable embedded navigation product with an interesting technical stack and architecture. In fact, the in-car navigation is just one element of the entire developed ecosystem, other building blocks are. APIs, libraries and SDK. We are an international team of engineers, designers and product managers working in an agile environment and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Release Manager to join our team.

As a Release Manager in our team, you will:
1. Define, implement, and continuously improve the release management process to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
2. Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases across multiple teams, aligning with business priorities
3. Ensure all release features and deliverables are identified, tracked, and delivered on time
4. Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, streamline release automation, and enhance system reliability
5. Monitor testing outcomes with QA team and ensure compliance with defined quality standards and testing protocols
6. Manage change control processes to ensure proper review, approval, and documentation of modifications
7. Act as the central point of contact for release-related communication across Development, DevOps, Product and Program teams
8. Lead go/no-go assessments, risk reviews, and ensure rollback and contingency plans are in place
Who are you?
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
10. At least 8 years of experience in release management or related roles within software development and deployment environments
11. Strong understanding of release management best practices, change management, and incident management
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment
13. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions
14. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong track record of working effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments and expertise in the automotive
15. Experience with automation tools, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines and Android
16. Excellent English communication skills, ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex topics
