You actively shape regulatory and technical frameworks at national, European and international level and ensure that upcoming standards are anticipated early and translated into competitive advantage.
You will represent the company in key standardisation bodies, influence regulatory developments relevant to building materials and construction systems, and drive internal alignment across engineering, R&D, legal and business functions.
This role is designed for experienced professionals who combine deep regulatory expertise with strategic foresight, strong stakeholder management and the ambition to actively shape the future of the construction and building materials industry.
Act as the company’s key representative in national, European and international standardisation committees, associations and regulatory bodies.
Actively influence standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to building materials, construction systems and building envelopes.
Lead and coordinate an internal expert network across engineering, R&D, quality, legal, marketing and production.
Support product development and innovation by integrating regulatory requirements at an early stage.
Act as internal sparring partner for management on regulatory risks, opportunities and strategic positioning.
Design and deliver internal trainings, briefings and updates on standards and compliance topics.
Monitoring & Risk Management
Continuously monitor regulatory developments, standards and certification requirements across relevant global markets.
Develop internal guidelines, position papers and whitepapers to support strategic decision-making.
Several years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, standardisation, certification or compliance within a technical or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in the construction or building materials sector (e.g. roofing, waterproofing, façades or adjacent industries).
Proven experience working in international and cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
Excellent English skills are essential; German language skills are a strong advantage.
Willingness to travel as part of a European or global role.
