At Banqup Group, we are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Account Executive (New Business) to join our Corporate Sales team.
We are looking for a candidate with strong sales acumen to contribute to a leading fintech company that simplifies and automates business processes through innovative digital solutions. This role is ideal for a professional with a few years of experience or a driven graduate eager to build a career in a dynamic environment.
Very high-level knowledge of German is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Responsibilities - what we expect of you:
You execute within the Corporate & Partner Sales teams in various stages of the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract preparation, follow-up, and account management.
1. Open new markets: You own lead generation & outbound outreach via cold calls, targeted emails, LinkedIn, plus in-person connections at events & trade shows
2. Strategic pipeline build-up: You identify key decision-makers, assess needs, and position our SaaS solutions precisely
3. Drive leads to close: Build and nurture a well-structured pipeline - track progress, follow up diligently, and close deals as you gain experience
4. Deliver powerful demos: Conduct engaging discovery calls and dynamic product demonstrations via video or phone
5. Close the deal: Craft tailored proposals, follow them up, and take ownership until contracts are signed
6. Data-driven operations: Use Salesforce expertly to log every activity, conversation, and opportunity - report regularly and transparently
7. Communication: You act as a key point of contact for external inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
8. Problem Resolution: You address customer and partner issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams for resolution.
9. Process Improvement: You identify opportunities to improve sales support and inside sales processes and contribute to overall team efficiency.
10. Collaboration: You work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experience.
We are looking for candidates who have:
11. Bachelors degree in business administration, Sales or a related field
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships.
13. Fluent in both German and English (written and verbal).
14. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
15. A customer-centric mindset and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
16. A strong interest in sales and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
Preferred qualifications:
17. 13 years in sales, business development, inside sales or payments solutions preferably within IT, Software, SaaS, FinTech, or E-Invoicing
18. Technical affinity to advise clients on structured invoice formats (e.g., XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) and the Peppol network
19. Experience in using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
20. Proficiency in additional languages like French or Spanish are a plus
21. Team player, curious mindset, and desire for continuous growth
