The Role
We are looking for an Urban Planner / Stadtplaner (m/f/d) to support the development of renewable energy projects in Germany, with a strong focus on photovoltaic infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and develop urban projects linked to renewable energy (especially photovoltaic).
* Coordinate with local and regional authorities to secure permits and licenses.
* Prepare urban and environmental planning documentation in compliance with German and EU regulations.
* Supervise impact studies and adapt projects to local planning requirements.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environmental, legal, ESG).
Requirements
* University degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, Environmental Sciences or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in urban planning or infrastructure projects.
* Solid knowledge of German urban and environmental regulations.
* Native or C2 German and advanced English (C1).
* Legal and professional authority to sign off and certify projects.
* Strong coordination, communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience in renewable energy projects is a plus.
