Operations management officer

Our client, an Investment Fund company based in Luxembourg, is looking for its future Operations Management Officer.

This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsabilities :

* Accurately input and update transaction data from deal creation through to signature, ensuring compliance with internal investment rules and workflows.
* Monitor and manage pending operational requests, ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, and traceability.
* Perform data validation and clean-up to support accurate reporting and sound decision-making.
* Keep operational procedures and documentation up to date to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
* Support the digitalisation and automation of guarantee, equity, and mandate processes by analysing current workflows and helping implement improved digital solutions.
* Assist in testing new systems, supporting user acceptance testing, and contributing to implementation and rollout activities.
* Contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting tools by gathering and consolidating business requirements.
* Work closely with Business Support teams to enhance data management processes and automation initiatives.
* Help improve pipeline tracking and internal reporting processes.
* Coordinate with teams across the Investment Office to ensure alignment of workflows and timelines.
* Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to facilitate smooth operational processing and audit controls.
* Support the preparation of operational updates and briefing materials for senior management.

Your profile :

* At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in operations management, transaction processing, or a similar role.
* University degree (preferably postgraduate) in Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field.
* Experience in banking, asset management, private equity, venture capital, guarantees, or mandates is an advantage.
* Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, eFront, Tableau, Business Objects, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Power BI.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) knowledge of other European languages is considered an asset.
* Proactive and action-oriented, with the ability to handle workload peaks efficiently.
* Detail-focused and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.
* Strong team player, comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment.
* Clear and effective communicator, able to adapt messages to different audiences.
* Organised and structured, with the ability to prioritise tasks in line with organisational goals.
* Committed to process optimisation and continuous improvement.
