We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Compliance Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our Nuna/Joie/Graco juvenile products – including car seats, strollers, high chairs, travel cots, swings and baby carriers – meet all relevant regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring product compliance in line with European Union legislation as well as applicable national laws and regulations.
This position holds central responsibility for compliance activities across all our European subsidiaries and distributor markets. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, legality, and marketability of our products throughout Europe.
What you'll do
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure full compliance of all products with EU legislation and relevant national regulations across our European markets.
* Monitor and implement legal requirements such as the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), RoHS, and other applicable directives.
* Conduct and document product conformity assessments and risk evaluations in accordance with legal/regulative obligations.
* Stay up to date with regulatory changes and evaluate their potential impact on product compliance, product development and intellectual property.
* Actively support the line manager on issues with market surveillance authorities and ensure timely handling of critical inquiries or incidents.
Product Review & Documentation
* Coordinate and maintain all required technical documentation (e.g. declarations of conformity, user instructions, risk assessments).
* Review product samples and prototypes for compliance during development and prior to market launch.
Internal & External Collaboration
* Act as the central point of contact for product compliance (pre-market launch) across both internal European subsidiaries and external distributor markets.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. product development, quality assurance, legal) to integrate compliance into all stages of the product lifecycle and support the introduction of a new cross-company compliance software system.
* Collaborate with external testing and certification bodies (e.g. TÜV, OEKO-TEX, Intertek) and manage product testing processes in accredited laboratories.
What you'll bring
* Degree in Engineering, Product Safety, Quality Management, Legal, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs, ideally in consumer or juvenile goods industry.
* Fluency in English; German or other European languages are a plus.
* Proven experience in interpreting and applying EU regulations and EN standards in a practical product context.
* General knowledge of EU product safety (GPSR) and other EU consumer goods legislation
* Experience with technical documentation requirements.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
* Team-oriented with strong communication skills and intercultural awareness.
* Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures.
