Amentum is seeking a Mission System Operator for a position in the vicinity of Ramstein AFB/Pirmasens, Germany. The Mission System Operator conducts realistic TTAO training via a combination of fixed, mobile, and MANPORTABLE mission system throughout the European Area of Operation.
Responsibilities
1. The Mission System Operator operates GBAD system.
simulators and associated equipment
2. Understands Aircrew survivability.
tactics and employs near-peer GBAD and IADS tactics in accordance with
Scenario controller and /or customer requirements.
3. Operates legacy Threat Emitters in accordance with Scenario Controller and/or customer requirements up to SECRET training parameters
4. Transport, set up, complete pre mission checks, operate and clean.
all mobile, fixed and support and associated equipment. TRTG, SSAM, WESS, RWR, MAST, Malina, Griffen, Inflatable Decoys, Inflatable Decoy Blowers, Metal Decoys, UHF/VHF Radios, Remote Radio Kits, Generators, Laser Detection Systems, Mutes JTE and MC@ under the guidance by Advanced Mission System Operator MALTS-V (Drive, Setup, Teardown Only MALTS-D (Drive, Setup, Teardown Only)
5. Complete operator level maintenance on all electronic equipment
6. Setup, tear down and shipment of all equipment under the EWOTIM PWS
using manuals and required test equipment
7. Drive all required vehicles required to move, transport, load,
unload and operate equipment
8. Load and unload equipment being transported by shipping companies or
Air Force (Road, Rail or Air)
9. Transport and secure munitions
10. Support Maintainers while maintenance is being accomplished on
equipment
11. Travel to temporary duty stations on short notice and for extended
periods of time in support of missions, training, and conferences
12. Report any deficiencies or outages of all equipment to Maintenance
Control and Maintenance personnel
13. Accomplish corrosion control and repair on all equipment
14. Complete IMDS inputs for actions taken on repairs
15. Transport to or receive parts, equipment, and vehicles to and from
LRS and VRS
16. Assist with all GFP inventories and accountability, filling tags and paperwork under guidance of Supply Technicians and Maintainers for turning in serviceable or unserviceable
parts and equipment
17. Submit corrections for equipment and manual improvements and develop, improve or correct checklists and procedures
Additional Responsibilities
18. Report and deficiencies or outages of any facilities to the Facility
Manager
19. Move office supplies or furniture
20. Work in all weather conditions, remove snow and ice from facilities
21. Clean all areas, vehicles, and equipment by means of sweeping,
vacuuming, moping, wiping, dusting and power washing
22. Position may involve extending reaching, stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., ability to use MS Office/Computer
23. Extra duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
24. Must have experience in related field at a military installation
25. Excellent organizational and time management skills
26. Computer skills
27. Valid driver's license and passport
28. Must obtain German class B and C license within 6 months of hire
29. Obtain German Driver’s license minimal requirement of C1E with the chance
of up to CE (Equals American CDL, vehicles with trailers up to 40,000kg)
30. Ability to obtain a German Forklift License as required
31. Security Clearance-DOD Secret required and be eligible for NATO Secret Indoctrination. Applicants selected must currently possess a Secret clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Must maintain clearance during employment
Preferred Qualification
32. Previous work experience in an OCONUS environment preferred
