Wind Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from conceptual design to execution across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and review site engineering design for utility scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
Deliver designs and optimization in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and industry practices.
Technical due diligence and site investigation including cost and quantity estimations.
Structural analysis and foundation design (wind, solar, and BESS).
Define and oversee external engineering services as well as the scope of technical contracts.
Be responsive to the needs of internal stakeholders and project requirements.
Provide feedback and contribute to continued improvement in all areas.
Requirements:
Degree in civil engineering or similar (advanced vocational qualifications and practical experience considered).
At least three years of relevant work experience in solar and/or wind engineering (civil).
Experience in foundation and crane pad design for wind turbines is preferred.
Member of a German chamber of engineers is preferred.
Profound Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills (others helpful).
Knowledge of Eurocode, IEC codes, and industry practices.
Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record of international work experience.
Willingness to travel internationally.
