Responsibilities:
You provide technical leadership to internal and external development partners for ECU hardware.
Based on customer and system specifications, you will define appropriate, innovative, and feasible hardware requirements.
You coordinate layout development and provide clear design guidelines for external partners.
You further develop our electronic circuits, create circuit diagrams, layouts, and documentation yourself, or review those created externally.
You define test strategies and test specifications (including EOL) and oversee the verification of the hardware.
You ensure electrical functionality and robustness through simulations and reviews.
You provide support for functional safety, cybersecurity, and FMEA analyses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering, or a related field.
Profound experience in the hardware development of electronic control units (ECUs) in the automotive sector.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design (using Altium Designer or a similar tool).
Experience with common automotive standards and processes (e.g., A-SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434).
You understand technical concepts, work in a structured manner, and maintain a clear overview.
Strong communication skills and a passion for working with internal teams and external partners.
Business-proficient language skills in German (minimum C1) and fluent in English (minimum B2), both spoken and written.
