To support our continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced Logistics Procurement Manager to join our team in Cologne.
Your Role
As Logistics Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing transportation and logistics services across multiple modes. You will lead negotiations, optimize supplier performance, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery in line with our global logistics strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute procurement strategies for freight, warehousing, and logistics services
* Source and negotiate with carriers, 3PLs, and logistics providers across Europe and globally
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements
* Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to align procurement with business needs
* Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
* Support digital procurement initiatives and sustainability goals
Your Profile
* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in logistics or transportation procurement, preferably in freight forwarding
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
* Knowledge of international logistics markets and regulations
* Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
* Proficient in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa)
