Your role
As a Full Professor or Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, you will lead research activities in clinical psychology and psychotherapy, focusing on mental disorder etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. You will teach at all educational levels and contribute to strategic developments within the Department and the University.
Potential research areas include:
* Clinical psychology/experimental psychopathology, investigating psychological processes involved in mental disorder etiology
* Psychotherapeutic process research, examining interactions and experiences within therapy sessions
* Clinical health psychology/behavior change interventions, exploring underlying mechanisms driving behavior change and developing effective interventions in health and well-being
You will work closely with colleagues to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead research activities in clinical psychology and psychotherapy
2. Teach at all educational levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD)
3. Contribute to strategic developments within the Department and the University
Requirements:
* Ph.D. in Psychology (with specialization in Clinical Psychology)
* Psychotherapy license/approbation
* A minimum of five years of post-doctoral experience acquired in a university or comparable research centre
* University-level teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level
* An outstanding track record of international peer-reviewed publications
* Demonstrated success in obtaining EU and other competitive international funding
* Well-established expertise in experimental psychology and/or evaluation and/or clinical trials
* Genuine commitment to translational efforts
* Substantial mentoring and management experience
* An interdisciplinary orientation, including leadership roles in interdisciplinary networks or consortia
* Extensive experience with public outreach and stakeholder engagement
* Broad knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks
* High visibility in the scientific community
* Dedication to the principles of transparent and open science
