Job Title: Senior IT Operations Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist to lead continuous improvements, ensure the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, drive various on-site IT projects, and act as the technical bridge between local business teams and central IT.
* Duties include delivering hands-on L2 support to resolve complex issues and maintain efficient operations.
* Responsibilities also involve monitoring help desk trends, identifying recurring challenges, and driving improvements across IT services.
* Furthermore, the successful candidate will facilitate onboarding and training for new IT team members, create and share clear training materials, and document procedures for the central IT L1 Support team.
* The ideal candidate will act as the primary interface between the manufacturing site and central IT, ensuring seamless project execution.
* Additionally, they will provide local insights to guide practical and effective IT solutions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an IT technician or system administrator, with a strong focus on L2 support within a manufacturing environment.
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments (clients and servers), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services is required.
* Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and LAN/WAN troubleshooting, is necessary.
* Good understanding of ITIL principles and best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management is expected.
* Experience in first-line SAP support is considered an advantage.
* Proven project management skills are essential.
* Knowledge of Operational Technology is highly desirable.
* An excellent command of spoken and written English is required.
