A successful boutique global consulting firm focused on risk, finance and strategy is looking for a Risk & Compliance Associate to join their German office on a remote basis and support their 2 Partners.

Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for executing selected aspects/tasks relating to internal projects, with a strong emphasis on Legal, Risk & Compliance, etc. Coordination of tasks with various stakeholders within the global firm, covering both client facing and internal support team members, across several functions Close collaboration with local (in-country) operations managers on range of Legal, Risk and Compliance initiatives and internal projects Performing gap analyses, drafting remediation / implementation plans for a range of Legal, Risk and Compliance matters across the global firm Review and (re)design, as well as implementation / embedment of sustainable operational processes or procedures, and supporting stakeholders through adopting changes Fact-finding and assessment of status quo, as well as data analysis using data extracts from various environments and presenting information to Senior Management Development of templates and ad-hoc reports/dashboards using, amongst other tools/applications, the Microsoft Office Suite (incl. Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, Teams) and various internal reporting capabilities Developing/Documenting relevant policies and procedures and train other personnel where required Supporting the organisation with the collection and capture of new data, as well as general improvement of existing data quality across relevant systems and processes Follow-up and resolution of bottlenecks across various operational and administrative processes Identify shortcomings, gaps or needs in existing processes, procedures and data, propose solutions for remediation and implement tactical solutions where required Project management and progress tracking/reporting on various initiatives across the internal project landscape
Understanding of and experience required with:
Experience with professional services companies Compliance monitoring and assessment Contract management and execution Insurance portfolio management The development of governance, compliance and/or risk management frameworks Working with variety of legal and compliance experts across different aspects of law and regulation Concepts such as risk management frameworks, processes, polices and procedures
Additional skills required:
Strong coordination/organisation and effective communication skills, with an ability to drive towards outcomes and convergence across different stakeholders Excellent verbal and formal writing skills in both German and English Ability to prioritise and take initiative Someone with proactiveness, perseverance, a sense of ownership, clear and effective communication Fluent German speaker and proficient in English
Salary up to 70,000 Euros plus benefits (negotiable for the right candidate).
This is a hybrid role based in Frankfurt, Germany.
