What you will do Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will supervise a team of Talent Acquisition Partners, responsible for hiring all roles (except exec level) across the Johnson Controls business in Germany. You will work closely with your manager and key stakeholders to consult on hiring strategies and influence hiring practices. To deliver on these objectives, you will supervise your team, manage capacity, build pipelines of qualified candidates for critical roles, and deliver to KPI’s. You will remain a productive member of the TA COE, personally responsible for complex or more senior requisitions. How you will do it Oversee Talent Acquisition activity for a defined business area within your team in Germany. Tracking of all open requisitions and their current hiring status – including time in stage (launch, sourcing, manager review, interview and offer process), conversion ratios, source ROI, and diversity. Ensure Hiring Managers are aligned and aware of the hiring activities for their open positions with continuous collaboration and communication. Develop hiring strategies to attract and engage external talent, including market research and participation in different events within the local community. Ensure your team is providing a best in class candidate and hiring manager experience. Managing hiring activities to ensure timeline completion for various hiring projects, including local regulatory requirements. Management, engagement and motivation of TA Partners. Conducting regular 1:1’s and appraisals, and managing all activity associated with performance, leave of absence, and turnover/recruiting/onboarding into the team. What we look for Demonstrable experience in a corporate high-volume full-cycle recruitment function. Successful complex stakeholder management skills within a diverse matrixed organisation. People supervisory experience. Knowledge of local recruitment and labour legislation in Germany. Technology aptitude - experience with enterprise ATS & CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other direct sourcing tools. English essential, second language desirable.
