Job Description
This role owns the worldwide product and innovation strategy for UX and the PDC R&D footprint, steering technical concepts to meet customer needs and keep a competitive edge.
* Global R&D lead for display and input device products (input devices, haptics, display solutions, multidisplay applications)
* Lead approximately 390 engineers across multiple international sites (SW, EE, MW, Systems, ELM)
* Manage an R&D budget, while building key expertise, IP, and partnerships (including start‑ups and acquisitions) to strengthen the market position
Qualifications
* Academic degree in engineering or comparable qualification
* Several years of experience in development management, project management and in the automotive field
* Experience in electronics development and launches of series production or high-volume products, ideally in display and TP projects with global OEMs
* Several years of experience leading international engineering teams and cross‑functional projects or acquisitions
* Intercultural experience desirable (e.g., US, China, France, Japan)
