Own the process of winning complex agency-of-record engagements across mid-market and enterprise brands. Lead discovery calls and consultative conversations to understand prospect challenges, identify opportunities, and determine where New Engen can deliver the most impact.Shape strategic proposals and pitches. Partner closely with sales strategy, service line leads, and senior leadership to develop thoughtful responses to RFPs and custom pitch materials. Translate client needs into tailored proposals that clearly demonstrate New Engen’s capabilities and strategic approach.Advise marketing leaders on growth opportunities. Engage directly with senior marketing stakeholders to discuss challenges spanning paid media, creative performance, content strategy, and the broader customer journey. Bring credibility and depth to these conversations while helping prospects identify opportunities for meaningful growth.Own and evolve the sales process. Serve as a steward of New Engen’s sales process, following established frameworks for pipeline management, deal stages, and cross-team handoffs. Maintain strong visibility into opportunities while ensuring deals progress efficiently through each stage.Continuously improve pitch strategy and storytelling. Approach pitches with a product mindset, constantly refining how New Engen’s story is told. Test new approaches to pitch decks, positioning, and messaging based on what resonates with prospects and differentiates us from competitors.Advance AI-driven sales capabilities. Actively explore and implement AI-powered tools and workflows that improve the team’s efficiency and effectiveness. Build reusable assets, automate research and proposal development where possible, and share learnings that elevate the broader sales organization.What you’ll need6 to 9 years of experience in digital marketing, agency sales, or a closely related field, with enough time spent close to media and creative work to hold substantive conversations with brand marketing leaders3+ years of experience in a B2B sales or business development role, preferably at a digital marketing agency or performance media companyA strong command of full-funnel media strategy, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, and how creative and content connect to media performanceExperience selling complex, multi-service scopes of work—ideally agency-of-record or retainer engagements—to marketing leaders at mid-market or enterprise brandsComfort navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and building relationships across CMO, VP, and Director-level buyersA proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets in a consultative sales environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives for client-facing proposals and presentationsHigh proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) and the ability to build practical workflows, prompt libraries, and lightweight automations that improve team output and speedDemonstrated ability to learn, adopt, and champion new technologies—and to bring others along with youFamiliarity with CRM platforms (Hubspot, Salesforce preferred) and strong pipeline hygiene habitsA competitive, curious mindset with working knowledge of the agency and marketing landscapeCollaborative by nature—you thrive in cross-functional environments and know that great pitches are a team sportSOME OF OUR PERKSMedical, Dental, Vision, Short/Long-Term Disability, Life/AD&D401k - Employer matchHSA - Employer contributesFlexible Vacation & PTO planPaid Maternity / PaternityPaid HolidaysRemote/Flex day scheduleLaid back office environmentThe coolest team ;)Fun company events & off-sitesSalary Range: $100,000 - $120,000The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
