Main workplace: Lichtenfels or Deißlingen. Willingness to travel is expected. We are searching for a Supply Chain Operations Specialist as Station Area Manager.
The heart of our business is operations, making sure we fulfill and dispatch orders efficiently so that customers get their items on time. As a Station Area Manager, you'll make sure your sites are running smoothly to meet customer demand.
You will review station KPIs and processes and manage stakeholders to keep operations safe, efficient and of high quality. You'll take on projects across the network to drive productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create, oversee and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
* Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
* Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
* Analyse station performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve operational excellence
* Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise practices
A Day in the Life:
You'll work early shift (start at 6:00 am) and ensure your sites are productive. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and station performance standards. You'll also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
About the Team:
We look after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns. What sets this apart is the extra level of customer care.
We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfillment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While some of us work night shifts, most of us work during the day.
Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.
Requirements:
For this position, we expect:
* Relevant experience in logistics or data driven environment, e.g. as Operations Manager or Data Analyst
* Relevant experience in stakeholder management or people management
* Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and German
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more of the following would be a plus:
* A University degree
* Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
* Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
