About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support our company's overall controlling tasks.
This person will report to the Head of Financial Controlling and Accounting and will be under the coordination of senior members in the team.
The Financial Controller will work closely with other departments to support in their day-to-day cost management and monitoring, as well as forecasting and budgeting matters.
A solid command of English is crucial.
Key Activities:
* Verifying and validating all of the company's accounting entries and handling controlling activities;
* Financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities;
* Ensuring that the finance department has the systems, policies, procedures, and controls in place to support effective operation and adherence to financial rules and regulations;
* Working closely with other departments to support in their day-to-day cost management and monitoring, as well as forecasting and budgeting matters;
* Understanding the company's standard of conduct, assessed risks to objectives, and related control activities at respective levels of the company, expected information and communication flow, and monitoring activities relevant to achieving objectives;
* Timely preparation and delivery of financial reports, annual accounts treasury reports, and forecasts;
* Assisting with budgeting and fee structure processes;
* Closing procedures together with the accounting department;
* Verifying and authenticating from a financial controlling perspective all bookkeeping entries;
* Advising on VAT, tax, and regulatory financial matters;
* Verify and confirm results related to balance sheet reconciliation, also do recommendations where needed;
* Verify and confirm intracompany reconciliation processes with TSOs;
* Drafting financial controlling policies and procedures;
* Reviewing and assessing data from time tracking tool and make recommendations;
* Providing support for ongoing projects and suggest system improvements;
* Coordinating and supporting external audit requests.

Requirements
1. Degree education level in accounting, finance, or economics;
2. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills;
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or audit;
4. Knowledge and experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting;
5. Knowledge and experience in financial statements under LuxGaap;
6. Knowledge and experience working with SAP-FI/CO is an asset;
7. Good knowledge and mastering of ERP's or any;
8. Proficient in MS Office, most particularly in Excel and PowerPoint;
9. Ability to listen, empathy, and excellent communication skills;
10. Able to structure work logically and efficiently;
11. Able to deliver work of a high standard with attention to detail;
12. Able to execute tasks under strict deadlines;
13. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
