Your area of work
The primary focus of Due Diligence & Supervision is to ensure adherence to relevant rules and regulations at every stage of the client lifecycle. This includes due diligence during client onboarding, the admission of exchange traders monitoring of MiFiR and non-MiFiR clients’ reporting obligations, and maintenance of the business relationship in light of fulfilling regulatory requirements, whilst ensuring customer friendly experience through digitization initiatives.
As a working student (f/m/d) in the Regulatory Admissions & Governance unit, you will be mainly responsible for the admission processes of traders and other individuals to our markets. This includes organization of trader examinations, granting access authorizations to trading floor as well as supporting in regular supervisory reporting. Furthermore, you will provide 1st level support on questions regarding regulatory admissions directly to our clients and to internal interfaces via phone and e-mail. Additionally, you will assist the team and line management in coherent process documentations, drafting guidelines and ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities:
1. You will participate in trader admission / termination processes for the markets Xetra, Eurex & Eurex Repo
2. You will support in creation of monthly / quarterly / annual reports for BaFin & Hessische Börsenaufsicht
3. You will support the team in audit document collection and delivery
4. You will be involved in enhancing data quality and account maintenance within SAP CRM 7
5. You will support in creation of internal process guidelines and defining governance frameworks
6. You will be jointly responsible for answering requests from internal stakeholders regarding admissions of our clients (e.g. Group Legal, Compliance or Key Account Management) and support in trader exam organization and coordination with the clients
7. You will support in creation of invoices for trader examinations and trainings
8. Furthermore, you will support the team with internal project tasks and digitization initiatives
Your profile:
9. You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least one semester
10. Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the financial markets area
11. You have basic knowledge in Finance, Capital Markets, as well as Financial Regulations
12. You are client services orientated and with your advanced communication skills, you will ensure high client and stakeholder satisfaction
13. You are a very good team player with strong organizational skill and are highly motivated, flexible, open for challenges and ready to take on responsibility
14. In addition, you have very good knowledge in MS Office applications
15. Moreover, you are fluent in English. German language skills will be an asset
