Key Responsibilities Post-Contract Management Manage all aspects of post-contract cost management, including cost reporting, valuations, and final accounts. Monitor project cash flows and provide accurate financial forecasting to support project planning and decision‑making. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions related to cost management. Prepare and present detailed financial reports on a regular basis, highlighting project costs, variances, and forecasts. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to analyse financial data and provide insights for strategic decision‑making. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of cost engineers or quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on cost management issues, building strong relationships based on trust and transparency. Address client queries and concerns promptly, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues. Requirements Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Professional Background: Background in consultancy, with experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering. Experience in managing costs for large‑scale projects, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sectors. Expertise Strong knowledge of post‑contract cost management processes, including cost reporting and financial forecasting. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
