Investigations Manager
Location: Heidelberg
A global industrial services company is seeking an Investigations Manager to join its Corporate Internal Audit & Investigations team. The role focuses on managing and conducting internal investigations across international operations, supporting compliance, ethics, and business integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and continuously improve the end-to-end investigation process, including case documentation and oversight of the allegation management system
* Plan and conduct internal investigations, including forensic analysis, electronic data review, and interviews
* Coordinate cross-border investigations with internal teams, external law firms, auditors, and authorities
* Draft detailed investigation reports and recommendations for management and relevant committees
* Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior stakeholders
* Develop and promote standardized investigation practices across the organization
* Administer and support investigation-related IT tools
Your Profile:
* Degree in law, business, or a related field, with several years of experience in compliance, audit, or investigations
* Strong understanding of relevant legal frameworks (e.g., criminal law, FCPA, UK Bribery Act, data protection)
* Experience with forensic accounting or financial investigations is a plus
* Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a systematic and results-oriented approach
* High integrity, discretion, and intercultural competence
* Willingness to travel internationally
* Professional certifications (e.g., CFE) are advantageous
* Fluent in
German
and
English
