DNV Business Assurance is looking for a highly motivated Sales Area Manager to support the business development of Supply Chain Assurance (SCA) services within the General Industries and the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong sales skills, excellent market analysis capabilities, and a strategic mindset. Experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry or Auditing firms is preferred.
ONLY applications from resources who have already gained previous (even brief) experience in offering Supply Chain second-party audit services and managing key clients will be considered.
The position reports to the General Industries Sales Manager Europe – Supply Chain Assurance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze the General Industries market of the pertinent area to understand trends, general outlook, development opportunities, potential customers, and competitors’ strategy
2. Ensure the achievement of the individual sales targets assigned
3. Responsible for implementing sales actions through the development of prospects and existing key customers
4. Follow up leads and opportunities coming from the different channels
5. Ensure DNV visibility within the General Industries market
6. Ensure strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting to support business planning and target achievement
7. Contribute to developing and maintaining a network of channels in the General Industries market with lead generation activities
8. Take part in local communication actions (external events, tradeshows, conferences, workshops, organized by the Marcom Department.

21. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred
22. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in auditing services
23. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the General Industries market
24. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
25. Excellent communication and presentation abilities
26. Project management skills
27. Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
28. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
29. Valid EU driving licence
30. Willingness and ability to travel within the region and internationally
