What we do
The Finance and Accounting team is a business partner for internal and external stakeholders such as management, auditors, and banks. The team works with colleagues across the globe and provides exposure to interesting topics and projects related to our responsibilities. We cover key areas such as accounts payable, receivable, tax, and invoicing areas to name a few. In close collaboration with our controlling department, we provide a strong foundation for finance excellence. Our team consists of a range of professionals, junior and senior, which contribute to everyday operational success. The Finance and Accounting department is an essential pillar of the company; therefore, its members represent a valuable and respectable team that always strives for excellence.
What you will do
1. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
2. Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
3. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
4. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements in accordance with statutory and company accounting and financial guidelines
5. Monitoring accrual and deferral accounts
6. Preparation of advance sales tax returns
7. Monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable and personnel accounting
8. Preparation of documents for the annual financial statements
9. Cooperation with external bodies (tax office, tax consultant and auditor)
10. Collaboration in the optimization of internal processes and procedures
11. Responding to travel expense issues, as well as administrative work such as credit cards and implementation of travel tools
12. Assist with other accounting projects
What we are looking for
Requirements
13. Formal training as an accountant or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
14. Some work experience in similar job positions
15. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
16. Analytical and precise
17. Good organizational skills
18. Deadline-Oriented
19. Self-motivated and flexible
20. Ability to work either independently or within a team
21. Analytical problem-solving capabilities
22. Proactive and hands-on attitude
23. Ability to work in an international team with international customers
Nice to have
24. Firsthand experience with SAP FI
25. Previous experience in global company and work in international team
