Job Summary:
This role oversees teams responsible for maintenance program, reliability program, aircraft troubleshooting, technical library and services, and data engineering. It involves defining department vision, goals, and operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Define the department vision, goals, and operations to align with organizational objectives.
* Establish and maintain standards to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of technical content within the maintenance program.
* Provide access to all technical publications through a centralized library and company IT infrastructure.
* Manage daily team operations, staffing, and communication to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Promote continuous learning and team development to enhance performance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Approve procedures and process manuals to ensure adherence to industry standards.
* Coordinate actions to ensure compliance with mandated tasks specified by aviation authorities.
* Oversee troubleshooting activities to support the operation of Cargolux fleet and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.
* Lead maintenance programs, reliability, and data engineering projects to improve safety and reliability of Cargolux and Cargolux Italia fleets.
* Analyze team performance and implement corrective actions to address any gaps or deficiencies.
* Provide insights and recommendations to management to inform strategic decision-making.
Essential Requirements:
* Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in an aeronautical environment.
* Extensive experience working with MRO IT systems.
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to travel and work outside normal hours as required.
