Responsibilities
* Lead contract negotiations with software vendors to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential cost savings.
* Conduct market analyses to ensure we get the best deals on software licenses.
* Manage and maintain purchased and registered software licenses, including ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
* Review and validate commercial data to maintain an overview of costs and budgets.
* Manage contracts, including monitoring durations and adapting them to current needs and requirements.
* Implement IT Asset Management strategies to optimize IT resources, particularly in procurement and license management.
Requirements
* You have a degree in economics, business administration, computer science or a related field, accompanied by several years of experience in procurement.
* Ideal additional qualifications include negotiation training, BME courses in procurement, etc.
* You have strong system and process understanding as well as practical experience with ERP and e-procurement systems.
* You have extensive experience in IT asset management and basic data knowledge.
* You are able to cooperate effectively, possess excellent communication skills and are conscientious.
* You have proficient use of MS Office applications.
* You have very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Team and Application Process
You will work in our Global Category Management IT & Services team within the Group Procurement department.
The application process involves a 1st video interview with the recruiter and potential team leader followed by a 2nd personal meeting on site with the potential team leader.
