Tasks:
This research project mainly focuses on the non-invasive characterization of bowel and liver tissues using magnetic resonance imaging, CT, as well as molecular and optical imaging.
1. The applicant is highly interested in basic science with a focus on preclinical imaging like computed tomography, optical imaging, and magnetic resonance imaging of mice
2. Planning and conducting of experiments and documentation
3. Evaluation and FAIR storage of imaging data
4. Grant writing
5. Organization and implementation of cooperation projects
Your profile:
Doctorate in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biophysics, pharmacy, or human biology/molecular medicine with experience in experimental research and an interest in immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and biotechnology
6. Experience in molecular imaging and magnetic resonance imaging, including sequence optimization
7. Preferably skills in molecular/cell biology and animal handling (FELASA B or equal) is desirable
8. Good spoken and written communication skills in English (Level B2)
9. Excellent management and organizational skills
10. Ability to work independently and flexible
