Job Overview:
We are seeking a Commercial Director to drive our Mass retail channel strategy in Germany.
* Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the execution of our Go to Market Strategy, meeting and exceeding our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and shaping our medium to long-term future plans with customers.
Key Accountabilities:
* Channel Ownership: Full commercial ownership of the Grocery and Discount channels in Germany.
* Customer Strategies: Develop and execute differentiated strategies for each retailer, aligned with broader commercial goals.
* Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Account Managers and Key Account Executives.
* P&L Management: Own the sales forecast, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets, and revenue targets per customer.
* Negotiation Excellence: Lead annual negotiations with local and regional customers including buying groups.
* Retailer Relationships: Build strong, trust-based partnerships with top retailer partners.
* Contribution to wider Germany sales success as a key member of leadership undertaking wider leadership projects, deputising for Senior Sales Director as required.
