For our long-standing client, we are looking for a Test Engineer for Automation Software in the Kassel area.
Your main task will be to conduct hardware-related tests of automation solutions (PLC, HMI) and document the results.
Responsibilities:
Performing tests on PLC and HMI systems (hardware-related, mostly manual)
Creating and documenting test cases in Polarion or similar tools
Recording and describing defects
Approving pull requests in Azure DevOps
Requirements:
Experience testing automation solutions (PLC/HMI)
Knowledge in creating and documenting test cases
Experience with defect management
Azure DevOps
Confident use of Polarion ALM or similar tools
Project details:
Start: ASAP
Duration: until December 2026
Workload: 5 days per week
Language: English required, German nice to have
