About ImmunoEdge
ImmunoEdge is a science-first venture redefining how we detect and prioritize cancer immunotherapy targets. Our proprietary technology unlocks previously undetectable tumor neoepitopes by minimizing bias and enabling quantitative peptide capture at ultra-low inputs — breaking new grounds in immunopeptidomics.
Our technology is patent-pending, grounded in years of research, and validated by early data. It has the potential to expand access to meaningful therapeutic targets and contribute to the development of more inclusive and precise immunotherapies.
ImmunoEdge was founded by Dr. Mogjib Salek, a scientist trained at the University of Oxford and previously based at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), where his work advanced precision immunopeptidomics and enabled neoepitope detection from clinical samples widely considered too limited for analysis. This work led to peer-reviewed publications in leading biomedical journals, including Molecular & Cellular Proteomics and Science Translational Medicine, in collaboration with experts in the field. The underlying research now forms the scientific foundation of ImmunoEdge’s technology, which is now being developed to take this further — enabling target discovery from real-world diagnostic samples, such as core needle biopsies, without the need for surgical resection or large tissue input.
The company is supported by a world-class Scientific Advisory Board, including Prof. Oreste Acuto (Oxford), a leading immunologist whose groundbreaking work in T-cell receptor signaling laid key foundations for modern cancer immunotherapy. Also advising is Dr. Christophe Masselon, a pioneer in mass spectrometry innovation.
Commitment
This is a founding leadership role, and full engagement will be expected as we move into validation, fundraising, and partnership-building phases.
Who We’re Looking For
* We’re looking for a co-founder with strong business acumen and a background that allows them to confidently engage with both scientific and commercial stakeholders. You should be ready to take on a co-CEO or CEO role.
* Built or helped scale a bio/healthtech company (e.g. diagnostics, drug discovery, or enabling tools)
* Been actively involved in fundraising, business development, or strategic partnerships
* Understand the journey from early-stage science to commercial proof
* Bring a scientific or biomedical background, allowing you to credibly navigate both science and business
You’re expected to build and lead.
Responsibilities
As an early-stage founder, you should be ready to wear many hats - from strategy and partnerships to operations, fundraising, and go-to-market. While responsibilities will evolve, you’ll play a critical role in:
* Co-developing the business and fundraising strategy
* Leading or co-leading investor outreach and funding applications
* Driving early commercial partnerships and validating market opportunities
* Shaping team structure and scaling plan with the scientific founder
* Representing ImmunoEdge in key meetings, programs, and pitch events
