Job Description
* Technical and disciplinary management of the Oil & Gas Upstream sales team
* Budget planning and ensuring budget compliance
* On-site customer visits together with EMENA (Europe, Middle East & North Africa) subsidiaries and representatives
* Generation and transfer of industry-specific knowledge
* Identifying and analyzing market trends and deriving measures from them
* Competitor monitoring and analysis
* Preparation and delivery of product and business area presentations
* Participation in international business field meetings, trade fairs, and congresses
* Occasional participation in ASM/IASM meetings
* Maintenance of the associated reporting system
Qualifications
* Ideally, a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering, further training as a pump engineer, or successfully completed further training as a technician or comparable qualification
* In-depth knowledge of the design of rotary positive displacement pumps
* Experience in the oil and gas industry and knowledge of the functioning and selection of downhole pumps would be an advantage
* Process-oriented, committed, and independent way of working
* Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
* High degree of flexibility, resilience, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
* Willingness to travel occasionally for several days at a time, both domestically and abroad
* Confident use of common IT tools, in particular MS Office and SAP
