Job Overview
Performs routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s) including physical building(s), process, and support equipment.
Job Requirements
* Cleaning and refurbishment of extrusion die heads and LSR molds
* Inspection of heaters and sensors, including documentation
* Measurement of permissible tolerances of nozzles and mandrels in accordance with specifications, including documentation
* Surface inspection of coated and uncoated tools as well as their reconditioning
* Collection and delivery of various parts from and to our service providersIncoming inspection of returned coated tools for functionality and quality
* Cleaning, inspection, and repair of coolings and gattos
* Willingness to travel on a day-by-day basis
What your background should look like
* Successfully completed vocational training as a process mechanic, metalworker, plastics technologist, or mechanic
* Valid Class B driving license is mandatory
* Strong quality awareness and assertiveness requiredRelevant professional experience in the fields of mechanics, extrusion, and LSR
* SAP knowledge is desirableKnowledge of preventive maintenance principles
* Documentation of work resultsConfident approach, forward-looking, independent, and well-organized working style
* Experience in extrusion technology, multilayer heads, and LSR tools
* Experience with cleaning reactors and ultrasonic baths
* Responsibility for spare parts management within the assigned area of responsibility
* Willingness to work shifts
