What You Will Do:
* Work on projects to accelerate the green energy transition nationally and globally, focusing on smart grids, renewable integration, decarbonization, and hydrogen.
* Contribute to project success by leading work streams, providing fact-based recommendations, managing stakeholders, and supporting large-scale program management.
* Build relationships within Guidehouse and with clients, upholding our values of respect, integrity, innovation, stewardship, and excellence, while promoting inclusion and diversity.
What You Will Need:
* Ideally 5-7 years of experience in relevant fields such as utilities, grid operators, or consultancy.
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
* Passion for sustainability, innovation, and energy transition, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively in virtual and in-person settings.
* Experience managing multiple projects and understanding client objectives.
* Knowledge of renewables grid integration, smart grids, and applications.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Master’s degree in energy/environmental/electrical/mechanical engineering, energy policy, economics, or social sciences with a focus on energy.
* Understanding of power system and market trends is an asset.
* Fluent in English; additional languages like German are a bonus.
* Willingness to travel, especially in the MENA region.
