The DWS Chief Risk office is a dedicated control function, independent from the Front Office, managing financial, non-financial, and investment risks for DWS Group and its subsidiaries.DWS NFRM acts as 2LoD ERM function within DWS with the mandate to establish and maintain risk management policies and frameworks, and ensure their implementation and adherence across the organization.As an NFRM Specialist, you will join the DWS NFRM team in Europe, reporting to the global DWS Head of NFRM. Your role will focus on Information Technology Risk Management, collaborating with various control functions and stakeholders across the organization.Role Details:As a Senior Risk Manager, you will:Establish minimum standards for IT risk management aligned with regulatory requirements.Develop requirements for a new IT Risk Management Policy in consultation with relevant controls functions.Create qualitative and quantitative measures to support the DWS Risk Appetite Statement related to IT risk.Work with IT and IS colleagues to produce and communicate training on policies, procedures, and controls.Support organizational and NFRM priorities, including risk assessments, scenarios, risk appetite monitoring, and transformation activities.Coordinate with DB Group NFRM and Data Management functions to ensure alignment with group requirements.Assist in regulatory and ad hoc initiatives addressing IT risk management, such as DORA and KAIT.Qualifications:University degree (Computer Science, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or equivalent).8+ years of experience in operational risk management or equivalent roles in IT risk, preferably within finance, consulting, or IT audit.Knowledge of industry and regulatory frameworks and standards.Professional certifications like Lead Auditor or Non-Financial Risk Management are a plus.Understanding of risk management principles and MaRisk requirements.Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Strong communication skills in English; German is preferred.Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of risk management applications is strongly preferred.What We Offer:We value our employees' health, happiness, and rewards.
